Beautiful vintage portrait miniature of a lady in period dress. Mounted in an oval frame on an olive velvet base, it is topped with a gold coloured ring for easy hanging. These pieces are often referred to as Victorian Revival or Florentine style, dating from the mid-20th century when such romantic revival imagery was popular.
