Description

A copy of a hand-colored print titled "Montgolfière lancée à Tivoli, 1800". It depicts a hot-air balloon ascent from the Jardins de Tivoli in Paris, an event that occurred on August 3, 1800. These are lithograph reproductions produced by Éditions du Chêne in Paris around 1956 as part of a series celebrating historical ballooning.
