Description

Fabulous pair of French antique blue plates made by Longwy.

Dating from the mid to late 1800's the first celebrates the reign of Louis Philippe who was the King of France from 1830 until the French Revolution in 1848. The second plate celebrates the reign of Francois 1st, King from 1515 to 1547 and a lading figure in the French Renaissance.

Condition

Showing signs of their previous life there is general wear and cracks to the glaze but would still make a lovely display piece. See images to make sure you're happy.
