Description

Fabulous French antique red talking plate from Luneville pottery.

Dating from around 1900 it is decorated with a humorous illustration of two men dancing. The translation at the top is "February birth forecasts" and at the bottom "At the masked ball they will have the wedding at the risk of giving yourself a bump".

Condition

Showing signs of its previous life there is a chip to the underside, cracks to the glazing and crazing but would still make a lovely display piece. See images to make sure you're happy.
